peanut butter, strawberries and Gerard Butler

i slept my day away after getting home at around 7-8am yesterday. a bunch of us took the first bus out of campus (after we broke camp at 3am, well, 5am for the main commies since we had a debrief meeting) and then traveled home together. it was cool how most of us lived in the North-Central area, so we could all take the same train line. Jin and i were the last to alight, and i accompanied him to Macs for breakfast, though i couldn’t stomach anything, and i really wanted to brush my teeth.

after my shower, i randomly popped a DVD into the player and half-drowsed for an hour or so until my hair dried. then i collapsed into bed and slept all the way until 5pm. i so wasn’t done, 8 hours isn’t enough to make up for two nights of lost sleep. but i forced myself to get up.

by then, i hadn’t eaten anything since dinner at 7pm the night before in school; though they went out to get nasi lemak and iced milo for everyone for supper at like 2am. i wasn’t exactly hungry or hot for coconut rice. … i still didn’t feel pangs of hunger when i got up though, so i figured i must have passed the critical moment. still, i ate some lovely strawberries and peanut butter. i know i lost about one kilo from the two-day camp alone, but i figured it probably would all come back. xD;

dinner was one of my favorites: fried spring chicken rice with coleslaw! <3 then Dad dropped Kazzie and i off to get Macs ice-cream cones, and we caught up a little on what she’s been up to while walking around the mall. i shall have my hot fudge sundae soon! and not to forget my Haato yuzu sorbet. tomorrow, i swear!

still managed to fall asleep last night despite my long day doze, after American Idol (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night which Jason Castro bombed, and thus booted off the show next) and got up around 8:30am. replied some text messages and finished reading a Johanna Lindesy romance novel this morning. (:

i’m only starting to feel hungry now, so i’m kind of wondering what to eat. maybe i should eat KFC just to celebrate International Mountain Dew Day! lol, i didn’t know it was “highly caffeinated” and here i was thinking it’s a mild alternative to cola or something.

i can’t believe i missed International Band T-Shirt Day. which is plain sad, because i’d have worn my LUNA SEA 2007 reunion concert tee. (they also performed at the hide memorial summit on 4 May this year which is just a few days back) but what i have done, is the International Fake British Accent Day! xD … lol, though unconsciously and only because we (i love my Fright Night route’s ghosts!) were foolin’ around in the club room the night before last, while waiting for Fright Night to officially begin. we discussed dialects, and Philip was teaching Zijie Hokkien. hur hur, the master! at least she could speak Cantonese with Kyle (who’s HK-born so it doesn’t really count, lol). and Cheryl can speak Teochew even though she’s really Hainanese (we have surprisingly quite a few of them in the committee!). i also did my psuedo-Indian, and Ros still pwns with her Filipino one and she’s too good for words. we fell all over ourselves trying to imitate others, like the Scottish accent because Gerard Butler is my new obsession ever since i watched P.S. I Love You!

i’ve been watching downloaded and YouTube videos of his TV appearances e.g. on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and he’s so adorable. (: and he’s so nice, hilarious and easy to talk to. he can banter his way through anything. zomg, Gerry is love! xDDD

BonitoChico’s new collection is equally tempting again. groans. the green kimono frock is a little too, uh, green for me. but i kind of like the floral tube dress, chiffon off-shoulder pieces, and the black v-back dress! i’ve seen the laced-spag floral spag top some places though. and i want the white gladiator sandals, Nicole mint green embroided dress and Scarlett vintagey floral tent dress from MSF’s new collection. and the whole denim pinafore skirt thing reminds me of my childhood.

i got my fixed iPod back at long last. i just finished syncing it a few minutes ago. (: yay-ness. i survived a week on my two iPod shuffles. which is a feat, because i’m the sort who doesn’t listen to a playlist start-to-finish and likes to pick what i want to listen next.

anyway! Mint is coming home tomorrow. Aur and i have plans to go to the airport, then i’ll sleep over at her place. yay! (: shall blog more about seniors’ camp and my past couple of days again later today. or tomorrow if i have time since i really want to check out the Roots moving out sale at Suntec, and eat my Haato yuzu sorbet. plus i need to pack for the sleepover!
