psyching up for seniors’ camp
today was much less stressful on the time than i had imagined. met up with grandma at a coffee shop near my place for breakfast where she passed me the sleeping bag i need for seniors’ camp tomorrow. drowsed around at home after spending time packing for said camp. finished my Linda Howard novel and waited for Dad and Kazzie to come home from my uncle’s place. lunch time! then went to pick up my glasses now fitted with pristine new lenses. (:
went home, finished packing and got a ride from Dad to school, all prepared to stay over in school tonight, like crash in Jess’s hall, should the FOC meeting run late. instead, i was punctual at 4pm, but typically, we started an hour late. i should really learn my lesson, hur hur, and just show up late like everyone else does.
anyway, in the end i couldn’t stay over, because thank god i found out in time when i got to school that my wallet wasn’t packed with me. i freaked a little. but my Dad promised to pick me up again later tonight post-meeting. which thankfully ended (at least whatever i need to be briefed on) at 10pm for me to get home.
we picked up dinner mid-meeting at JP after dropping Adeline and Kyle at the MRT. and here is where i go, yay, i have discovered the miracle of a cheaper meal at KFC called the O.R. Fillet Burger meal at only $3. though the burger is of course, significantly smaller than the Zinger or Fish Ole Burger or something. still, it’s cheaper than a student meal by $1.30! (: (okay this is the cheapo in me talking right now!)
Paparazzi meeting tomorrow morning! which i guess should run for a couple of hours max. then will probably hang out with WL and Jasmine at Suntec City and wait to pick up logistics supplies from Cheryl at 2:30pm, since i get to be station master for one of the stopovers for Christine’s Amazing Race, yay-ness. xD;
zomg, i like entirely too many dresses in the latest updates from shopping blogs. Odelia Frills in this post is kind of pretty! the kimono dresses in that post look a little too complicated in design for me though. pity. and i wish i can pull off tube dresses, which seem to be pretty hot property right now and they always seem to come in really interesting prints. also, i really like The Excursion in this post. The School Bus print top is adorable too. i would love to get yellow Hallie Sun Dress, Noelle Babydoll Top and the Clarissa Bohemian Tunic Top from this imported collection, which sells some unique pieces like suspender dresses!
but BonitoChico’s new collection tempts me the most though. i like the Floral Kimono Frock, Baby Blue Checkered Spag Top, Zal’s Striped Dress, Floral Patchwork Tube Dress and the Pull & Bear-Inspired Tube Dress.
Patrick Dempsey was on the Ellen show this past week! and the promo for episode 14 of Grey’s Anatomy seems to hint at some progress between the whole MerDer thing.
okay, i need to pack more stuff in preparation for my role in Fright Night on Tuesday. but i’m kind of tired, so i guess i’ll do it tomorrow morning before i head out. ugh, after auto-filling my iPod Shuffle with Grey’s Anatomy soundtracks and Stereophonics albums, i can’t fit in the She & Him songs i want. darn it.
