something about you
as if it’s not enough that episodes are missing, now the DVDs of Ghost Whisperer are presenting me with another challenge.
corrupted disc and therefore data. the whole bloody track skips skips skips merrily and i’m going crazy.
and Harry Potter’s seventh book hits the shelves officially today.
funny how i finally managed to pluck myself out of the hype and frantic fandom.
i didn’t preorder the book, nor do i expect myself to read it in the near future.
i haven’t even caught the latest movie. might be due to the mixed (but largely negative) reviews i heard.
i suppose i might catch it just to watch for the funny Severus Snape bits. Alan Rickman rocks, as usual.
i already know who dies, courtesy of dear Namz, who finished the book before appearing at our class gathering this afternoon.
we spent close to a few hours talking about uni and waiting for latecomers to drop by throughout lunch at Vi’lage.
half the class is not a bad turnout. ♥
Dils left halfway, but unfortunately there was no sight of Ben who’s really the main character.
i really like the seafood & cheese crepe (though it was kind of lukewarmish) i had and the rosti this afternoon tasted better than i’ve ever tried so far.
wish there was someone to share the calamari rings with me though (Elyn, i miss you!). mango & passionfruit ice-cream is love!
i got lucky too; the crepe lady didn’t scan my card, neither of us realized, so i got off with a cheaper bill at the end of the day.
afterward, we trooped our way to FEP for Zijie’s haircut (omg, nice!) and some shopping. xDDD
i didn’t buy anything, but some big bags caught my eye. there was this big one in this lovely pastel ocean bluegreen color but it was like $100. O_o
anyway, we also did some weird group photo stuff at the escalator landing (lol, basically being road blocks).
even though the guys refused to get into the picture.
made a date to go pubbing come Thursday evening with the girls at Clarke Quay.
i want to go to Ikea sometime soon with them too since they need to buy stuff for their hostel rooms.
in the end we hung out until evening, so i couldn’t get away in time to travel all the way to Pasir Ris beach.
so i had to give Mint’s birthday bash a miss. couldn’t attend Angel’s too, since it’s tonight as well.
i hope Mint had a decent surprise, since i heard some blur sotongs nearly gave the game away.
the weather has been rather wet today. hoping it didn’t ruin the BBQ.
haha, i should quit being anti-social because that’s one reason why i didn’t show. :3
sigh, i’m really not looking forward to that part of uni life where you have to adapt to a foreign environment and strangers all over again.
bah! weather’s terrible for the outdoors today.
but Kazzie and i got a lift home from Jx’s boyfriend earlier after dinner at my grandma’s. lucky!
i’m feeling exhausted and i only like sitting in front of the terebi or just crashing in bed right now.
still, thank god i haven’t showered and changed. xD
Choco’s popping by to pick up the Gatsby stuff, yay.
i’m going to finish blogging, editing and uploading photos on Friendster.
and then i shall couch-potato the rest of the night away.
still addicted to FAKE?. ♥
and another wonderful love story.
tomorrow shall be spent on Japanese homework.
i have a short essay to submit. help! o_O
(note to self: ironing & library books!!)
