cold Saturday morning
it’s a cold Saturday morning.
and i’m all alone at home.
… blast it, i have overdue library books again!
just realized my Dad has a copy of Thomas L. Friedman’s The World Is Flat, which is largely about globalization.
hm, maybe it’ll mark my first step towards reading literature beyond genre romance.
or i could refer to The New York Times’s 10 Best Books of 2006.
by the way, Toni Morrison’s Beloved has been named the best American fiction of the last 25 years.
i’m glad i did it for English Literature.
looks like the world is not yet over the iPhone buzz.
i just read my latest copy of TIME magazine, which includes an article on it.
it’s been on the cover of the local Chinese newspaper, even.
and check out this neat New York Times article about the iPhone; the description stimulates your desires for it apparently, according to the CNN article linked above. xD;
and what do you know!
The Picture House at The Cathay is showing Big Bang Love, Juvenile A which stars Ryuhei Matsuda and Masanobu Ando.
seems like it’s showing in other countries as well, so not surprising it’s landed here too.
